Retail space is rented by the inch
Shelf space is allocated and defended; the space around the register is negotiated daily. Display packaging — a counter unit, a floor stand, a power wing — is the format that wins that unallocated space, because it arrives as its own fixture and sells without staff attention. For an emerging brand, one good counter placement can outperform a whole shelf row.
The display formats
- Counter PDQ — a small shipper that converts into a branded counter display
- Floor stands — shippers with a base and header for aisle ends
- Power wings and sidekicks — units that clip to shelf edges
- Tear-away fronts — perforated panels the retailer removes for instant shelving
- Printed inside so empty rows still look deliberate
Low MOQ placement tests
A brand can prove a display concept with 50 units in five stores before committing to a chain rollout. A low MOQ display run lets you test whether the placement lifts sales in real retail — then reorder at volume with the tooling stored. That is a cheaper experiment than a national program that underperforms.
