The craft table is a packaging test
At a farmers market or craft fair, every soap brand at the table is handmade, natural and small-batch. The packaging is what separates the brand that reads as a business from the one that reads as a hobby — and the difference is not budget, it is specification: a fitted box, a clean panel layout, and one deliberate finish.
The craft soap spec
- A snug sleeve or tuck carton sized to the bar — no rattle, no oversized box
- A window or open-end that lets the soap itself sell
- Kraft board for the natural signal, or SBS for vivid colour
- Ingredient and weight panels laid out cleanly — craft buyers read them
- One finish — a debossed monogram or a single-colour foil — instead of five decorations
- Belly bands for variety sets without reprinting the inner
Low MOQ for market sellers
A market seller needs this weekend’s stock, not a pallet. A low MOQ of 50 soap boxes matches a batch of bars, a seasonal scent, or a first wholesale account — and reorders with stored tooling arrive identical when a scent sells out and the next batch is poured.
