The box is part of the pitch
At a demo day, every startup at the table has a deck. The ones that get remembered hand judges and investors something physical — a product sample, a branded kit, a piece of the story they can hold. The box that carries it is the first slide of that pitch, and it is judged in about three seconds.
What goes in a demo day kit
- The product itself, seated in a fitted insert so it survives a crowded room
- A one-card story: what it is, who it is for, one proof point
- A QR code to the live product or waitlist — not a URL nobody types
- A short leave-behind that fits a jacket pocket
- Nothing else — every extra item dilutes the one that matters
Low MOQ makes it possible
Demo day kits are needed in dozens, not thousands. A low MOQ of 50 boxes means a founding team can produce a fully printed investor kit for the exact number of judges, partners and press in the room — and reorder a refined version for the next event instead of warehousing a design that will change after the feedback.
